Dr. Amy has served as a member of the scientific advisory board for NFAM (National Foundation of Alternative Medicine) and the Documenting Hope Project for chronic illness. Dr. Amy worked in biotechnology for 15 years, co-developing the first low-cost DNA synthesizer and co-owning a DNA technology company as an inventor on multiple patents involving DNA and RNA technology. Dr. Amy then shifted her focus to using more natural approaches to address complex molecular health issues through additional training and degrees in natural health, including a Doctor of Natural Health, a board-certified Alternative Medical Practitioner, a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and a Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine https://www.dramyyasko.com/

SNPedia

SNPedia is a wiki investigating human genetics. We share information about the effects of variations in DNA, citing peer-reviewed scientific publications. It is used by Promethease (promethease.com) to create a personal report linking your DNA variations to the information published about them. https://snpedia.com/

Promethease is a literature retrieval system that builds a personal DNA report based on connecting a file of DNA genotypes to the scientific findings cited in SNPedia.

livewello

Livewello’s aim is to empower people to have control over their health. We believe that if people had the tools to be organized and understand their health issues, they would get better. Today, vast online research data and personal genomics have, for the first time in history, given people unprecedented access to health knowledge. We built our software to harness these resources https://livewello.com/
